Barbara Allen is a journalist and educator with a 25-year track record of improving journalism education and the student journalist experience.
Previously the director of college programming for Poynter, a student media director, adviser and adjunct professor, Barbara has spent her career dedicated to student journalists and the professionals who serve them. That’s why she’s launching collegejournalism.org, a weekly newsletter and resource hub for journalism education.
